Titled: “Light Speed”
It was a dreary, rainy, and wet evening on the plane. Storming as it was the plane still took off as i was sure it was would be delayed. You could sense how tense it was since the plane was completely quiet. As the flight continued it cleared up and the water just rolled off the window.
Life moves so fast that sometimes we don’t even realize things around us have changed.
Even though things are often out of our control it’s great to be alive and well. My best friend just reminded me this week how fortunate we are. Some people will never fly on a plane, use clean water, or go to any sporting events. Things we all typically do more than once a year let alone a lifetime.
I’m grateful for what I do have, and even more grateful for what I don’t have. Once you have it all, there’s nothing left to reach for.
